Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 14, 2026

How VoidSenses collects, uses, shares, and protects information across the website, apps, backend services, subscriptions, and connected camera devices.

Business Inquiries

The business inquiry form asks for your name, company, work email, inquiry type, and optional project context to review your request and respond. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Do not include credentials, camera URLs, network addresses, footage, sensitive facility plans, exact camera coverage, or confidential bid files. The form accepts no uploads.

When online submission is configured, details are sent to the VoidSenses server and its configured email provider for delivery to the authorized inquiry recipient. Confirmation on the page means the mail provider accepted the message, not that the recipient received or read it. If online submission is unavailable, the direct email link opens your own email application without sending automatically.

The inquiry endpoint does not create a lead database or log submission bodies. Form entries stay in the current browser view until submitted or the page is left; the application does not save them in browser storage. Temporary abuse and duplicate-request controls use hashed identifiers for a 15-minute window; expired identifiers are removed within the following minute. Email providers and recipient mailboxes may retain messages under their own settings and the Data Retention section below.

For correction or deletion of an inquiry, contact walmy@voidsenses.com. Recipient access, mail-provider retention, and applicable recordkeeping needs govern removal of email copies; the website does not promise automatic deletion from mailboxes or backups.

Introduction

VoidSenses is operated by VoidSenses LLC, a New York limited liability company. We provide camera and device management, live video, playback, health reporting, subscriptions, and related services through VoidEdge, VoidConnector, VoidBridge, and existing VoidCamera and VoidStreamer devices. Features depend on the product and configuration. This Privacy Policy explains information handling across our website, apps, backend services, and connected devices.

This Policy applies when you visit voidsenses.com, create an account, connect a device, use live streaming or playback, receive AI detection alerts, contact support, or purchase a subscription.

Information We Collect

Account information: We may collect your name, email address, phone number if provided or required by the signup flow, account identifiers, password hash, authentication tokens, login state, and login-related information.

Device information: We may collect streamerId, device_uid, device name, local hostname, firmware and software version information, configuration settings, network and IP/log data, connection status, and last-seen timestamps.

Organization information: We process organization membership, invitations, roles, camera groups, site and device assignments, access permissions, and health-report preferences to provide shared administration and authorized viewing.

Camera and recording data: Depending on how you use the service, we may process live streams, playback requests, recordings, clips, downloads, and thumbnails or previews if those features are enabled or used.

AI detection and event metadata: We may collect or process human detection, zone detection, event time, camera ID, alert metadata, object or event labels, confidence or matching metadata, and related search or notification metadata.

Subscription and payment information: We may collect subscription tier, subscription status, Stripe customer IDs, Stripe subscription IDs, checkout status, billing metadata, and related entitlement information. Full payment card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by VoidSenses.

Communications and support information: We may collect messages, requests, feedback, contact form details, support notes, and information you provide when you ask for help.

Logs and security data: We may collect server logs, app diagnostics, device connectivity logs, IP address, browser or device type, error reports, fraud prevention signals, and security audit data.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, connect viewers to devices, provide live video and playback, manage subscriptions, deliver alerts, support device setup, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, prevent abuse, protect users and the service, and comply with legal obligations.

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance, diagnose service health, and improve features.

Video, Audio, and Recordings

VoidEdge recordings and its person-detection index are stored on the configured local gateway. Authorized remote live viewing and playback send video through cloud services to the requesting browser; the Edge playback path relays original recording bytes without creating a persistent cloud video library. Search requests, results, job records, and operational metadata can pass through or be retained by cloud services.

For the supported Hanwha VoidConnector evaluation, continuous recordings and the activity index reside on camera SD storage. Requested short recording exports create private cloud copies for playback or download. Downloaded copies are also retained on the requesting device under its user's control. Other camera configurations require separate review.

VoidBridge provides live viewing and health information; it does not record video or provide recorded playback or AI search. Local viewing sends media over a reachable private network; Cloud viewing sends it through cloud services. Local viewing still uses cloud authentication and authorization, and a private route may include a routed network or VPN.

Existing VoidCamera and VoidStreamer recordings are primarily stored on the device. Applicable remote viewing, playback, downloads, and support functions can transmit video and metadata offsite. Local storage does not mean all data stays onsite or that every feature works without an internet connection.

Live streams, playback sessions, recordings, clips, thumbnails, previews, audio if enabled, and related metadata may be transmitted through VoidSenses services when those features are used. Some product workflows require transmission or processing to provide remote viewing, playback, support, relay, or related functionality.

You are responsible for how and where you place devices and for complying with recording, surveillance, notice, and consent laws that apply to your use.

Camera Health and Organization Access

Supported VoidBridge image-health checks briefly decode small image samples in memory and discard them after analysis. These checks report bounded status and measurements, rather than uploading the sampled images or creating recordings. Health checks can miss problems and do not establish that useful footage is being retained.

Organization administrators manage authorized members, camera-group access, and Local or Cloud live-view permissions. Authorized members can see information within their assigned access. A Local-only permission is a private-network access rule, not a physical-location guarantee.

Administrators can opt in to scheduled issue-only camera-health emails. When enabled, operational camera or site labels and issue summaries are sent through the configured email provider to the authorized recipient. Email copies are subject to mailbox and provider retention; successful provider handoff does not guarantee inbox receipt.

AI Detection and Notifications

VoidSenses may provide AI detection features, including human detection, zone detection, event labels, alert metadata, and search or playback metadata. These features may process camera frames, event information, or recordings on a device and may transmit related event metadata through VoidSenses services when alerts, remote access, search, support, or related features are used.

VoidEdge currently supports optional local CPU person detection and time-based retrieval of its indexed detections. Hanwha VoidConnector activity search uses the camera's activity metadata. These functions are distinct from facial identification, unrestricted natural-language video search, and a search of all past recordings.

AI detection and notifications may be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, produce false positives, or miss events. Detection metadata is used to provide alerts, search, filtering, playback context, feature improvement, diagnostics, and abuse prevention.

Payments and Stripe

VoidSenses uses Stripe to process subscription checkout and payments. Stripe may collect and process payment card details, billing address, tax information, and related payment information under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.

VoidSenses does not store full payment card numbers. We may store subscription status, plan/tier, Stripe customer ID, Stripe subscription ID, checkout status, renewal or cancellation metadata, and billing-related metadata needed to provide subscriptions and entitlements.

How Information Is Shared

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the platform, including hosting, connectivity, analytics, security, email, support, payment processing, and infrastructure providers.

We may share information with Stripe for payment and subscription processing, with support personnel or contractors when needed to resolve user requests, with a user's authorized account members if account-sharing features are enabled, and with law enforcement, courts, regulators, or safety-related parties when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.

VoidSenses does not store full payment card numbers; Stripe processes those payment details.

Data Retention

Business inquiries and support emails: our default is manual deletion from the active business mailbox 15 days after the inquiry or support matter is resolved, unless the correspondence is needed for an ongoing agreement, billing, a dispute or a legal obligation. walmy@voidsenses.com is the monitored business, support and privacy contact. We do not add inquiry senders to marketing lists. Provider trash and backup copies follow the provider’s retention settings.

Closed accounts: contact walmy@voidsenses.com to request closure or deletion. After identity and organization authority are verified, we use a 15-day handling target to review and remove personal data no longer needed. This is a manual request process, not an automatic account-expiry timer. We will explain necessary exceptions or delays; billing, fraud-prevention, dispute and legally required records may need to remain. Removing a member does not delete the organization’s cameras or another member’s records.

Operational logs and backups: 15 days is the default review target for routine logs and superseded backups. Current server logs use bounded rotation; backup cleanup is an operator task and there is no universal automatic 15-day erasure guarantee. A required recovery copy remains protected until a usable replacement is verified, and security incidents or legal obligations can require longer retention. A restored backup must have approved deletion requests reapplied before normal use. Software release artifacts and non-customer test evidence follow their separate rollback and engineering retention rules.

Recordings and indexes: retention remains controlled by the customer’s product settings, available storage and device health. Subscription cancellation or account closure does not remotely erase local camera or gateway storage or copies downloaded by users. Edge recording settings do not automatically delete cloud search-job metadata. Requested Connector cloud exports follow the expiry and storage limits shown by that feature. Ask the installation owner to verify and change local retention.

Security

We use technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encrypted transport where supported, logging, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and users should protect their accounts, devices, networks, and passwords.

User Choices and Account/Data Deletion

You may update account information, manage devices, change settings, cancel subscriptions, and delete or export local recordings through available app, device, or operating system controls.

To request account deletion, data access, correction, or other privacy help, contact us at walmy@voidsenses.com. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records, or dispute resolution.

Children's Privacy

VoidSenses is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Legal Requests and Safety

We may preserve, disclose, or access information when we believe it is required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when we believe it is necessary to protect users, the public, VoidSenses, our services, or the rights and safety of others.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
