Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of VoidSenses, operated by VoidSenses LLC, a New York limited liability company. They cover voidsenses.com, our apps and backend services, VoidEdge, VoidConnector, VoidBridge, existing VoidCamera and VoidStreamer devices, and the live video, playback, health reporting, subscriptions, and other features available for your configuration.

By creating an account, accessing the service, connecting a device, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VoidSenses.

Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and must provide accurate account information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must promptly update inaccurate account information and notify us if you believe your account or device has been compromised.

User Responsibilities

You may only connect cameras, streamers, devices, networks, and spaces that you own or are authorized to use.

You are responsible for complying with recording, privacy, surveillance, notice, and consent laws in your location and in any location where devices are installed or used.

You may not use VoidSenses for stalking, harassment, illegal surveillance, hidden recording, unlawful monitoring, discrimination, intimidation, or violating another person's rights.

You are responsible for device placement, signage or notice where required, network security, password security, and controlling who can access your account, devices, live streams, recordings, or alerts.

Device and Camera Use

Cameras, gateways, and connected software may require network access, updates, configuration, and compatible hardware. Features depend on exact device model, firmware, subscription, permissions, browser support, network conditions, and service availability. Development software acceptance does not establish that a particular camera, appliance, site, or deployment capacity is qualified.

You are responsible for installing and operating devices safely and legally, including avoiding restricted areas, private spaces where recording is prohibited, and uses that require consent you have not obtained.

Live Streaming and Playback

Live streaming, WebRTC signaling, playback relay, downloads, local recording access, and related features may depend on your device, network, subscription, browser or app version, backend services, and third-party infrastructure.

Recording and playback availability differs by product. VoidEdge uses local gateway recordings and authorized cloud relay; the Hanwha VoidConnector evaluation uses camera SD recordings and requested short cloud export copies. VoidBridge provides live viewing without a recorder. You are responsible for available retention settings, exports, downloaded copies, and deletion. The Privacy Policy explains these data flows.

Organization administrators are responsible for assigning appropriate membership, roles, camera groups, and Local or Cloud viewing permissions. Local viewing still depends on cloud authorization and private-network reachability; it is not a guarantee that a user is physically onsite.

AI Detection, Zone Detection, and Notifications

VoidSenses may include AI detection, human detection, zone detection, event labels, alerts, search metadata, and notifications. These features are informational tools and are not guarantees that an event will be detected, classified, recorded, delivered, or delivered on time.

AI detection and notifications may be inaccurate, delayed, unavailable, produce false positives, or miss events. You should not rely on VoidSenses as your only method for safety, security, emergency awareness, or critical monitoring.

No Emergency Service / No Guaranteed Security

VoidSenses is not an emergency response system, alarm company, law enforcement monitoring service, professional security monitoring service, life-safety system, or guaranteed security system.

VoidSenses does not guarantee that it will prevent crime, emergencies, harm, loss, property damage, unauthorized access, or missed events. In an emergency, contact local emergency services directly.

Subscriptions, Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Stripe processes payments, and your payment information is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.

Cancel future subscription renewals at any time through Subscription → Manage billing. The current standard portal schedules cancellation at the end of the paid billing period, without an automatic prorated refund. Confirm the effective date shown in the portal. If the portal is unavailable, email walmy@voidsenses.com to request cancellation. Cancellation, a refund request and account deletion are separate actions; a refund request can also ask to cancel renewal.

For standard VoidSenses website subscriptions, request a full refund of a subscription charge within 15 calendar days of that charge by emailing walmy@voidsenses.com from the account email with the invoice reference. Refunds are handled manually; submitting a request does not itself issue a refund. This policy does not limit rights under applicable law. Separate hardware, installation and agreed pilot work follow the written terms supplied before purchase.

Software Updates

VoidSenses may provide updates to web, mobile, backend, VoidCamera, VoidStreamer, firmware, AI model, device, and related software. Updates may add, remove, modify, or improve features, fix bugs, address security issues, or change compatibility requirements.

Some updates may be required for security, compatibility, or continued access to the service.

User Content and Recordings

You retain rights you have in your recordings, clips, device names, configuration data, support submissions, and other content you provide or create through the service.

You grant VoidSenses the limited rights needed to host, transmit, process, display, relay, store, analyze, troubleshoot, and otherwise operate the service for you, including providing live streaming, playback, downloads, alerts, support, security, and subscription features.

You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and legal basis needed for any content, cameras, recordings, and data you use with VoidSenses.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with infrastructure, bypass security controls, reverse engineer restricted portions of the service, overload systems, use the service to harm others, violate laws, infringe rights, access accounts or devices without authorization, or attempt to obtain video, recordings, credentials, payment data, or personal information without permission.

Intellectual Property

VoidSenses, VoidCamera, VoidStreamer, software, logos, interfaces, designs, documentation, AI models, platform technology, and related materials are owned by VoidSenses or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for rights expressly granted to you, these Terms do not transfer ownership of VoidSenses technology or brand materials.

Third-Party Services

VoidSenses may rely on or integrate with third-party services, including Stripe, hosting providers, connectivity providers, app stores, notification services, analytics, operating systems, browsers, and device platforms. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, outages, and requirements.

Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service, but VoidSenses may be interrupted, delayed, unavailable, degraded, or changed due to maintenance, updates, outages, network conditions, device conditions, third-party services, security incidents, misuse, or events beyond our control.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, real-time, or always-available service.

Termination

You may stop using VoidSenses at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, fail to pay required fees, misuse the service, or if continued service is no longer commercially or technically practical.

Upon termination, some data may be deleted or become unavailable, while certain records may be retained as needed for legal, security, billing, backup, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Warranty Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoidSenses is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, or reliability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoidSenses and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost recordings, service interruptions, missed detections, delayed notifications, security incidents, property loss, personal injury, or unauthorized access arising from or related to your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold VoidSenses harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your devices or recordings, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your violation of another person's rights.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the Last updated date and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
